Why the cost is so high
Bad leadership does not show up as one line on the P&L. It shows up everywhere: people who are stressed and disengaged produce less, good people leave and have to be replaced, ideas never get raised, customers feel it, and work gets done twice. Each line in the calculator is a slice of that, sized by research on workplace stress, the cost of turnover, innovation, reputation and lean operations.
The projection side is the other half of the story. A business whose team leads itself compounds. That is the entire point of the Green Beret Leadership Program.
Questions
How does the 10x Calculator estimate the cost of bad leadership?
It applies five research-based percentages to your revenue and headcount: 15% productivity loss from stress and disengagement, turnover at 20% of salary with a 10% turnover rate, 7.5% of revenue in lost innovation, 15% of revenue in reputation and customer satisfaction, and 5% of revenue in inefficiencies. The lines are added for a yearly total.
Is the 10x revenue projection realistic?
It is a model, not a promise. The projection compounds 85% growth a year for five years to show the scale of the opportunity when a team executes without the founder in every decision. Your actual growth depends on market, capacity and execution.
