1:1 Leadership coaching
Leadership begins within youPurpose-driven guidance, coaching and accountability, one on one
No one can lead until they believe they can. We guide you to discover that ability and put it to work.
We thrive on your success
We guide your discovery of what your unique success is, and you learn to create the successes that move you toward your purpose. Even on your worst day you can find a success if you choose to look for it, celebrate it and build on it.
All leaders are servants to their tribe, and great leaders are great followers. That is why no one makes it alone. You need people around you who support you, and people you follow. As a coaching client you join a tribe that expects effort, participation and support. There are no passive tribe members.
Coaching and mentoring share a foundation of trust. Mentoring is a more episodic, tactical approach to problem-solving. Coaching goes significantly deeper to understand your purpose before walking side by side through periods of discovery, acceleration and consolidation.
Every engagement starts by establishing a baseline. You have to know where you are today to plan tomorrow. From there we build a vision of your purpose through your values, likes, strengths and passions, then a plan, then the accountability to act on it. Action is scary because it brings change. Honest feedback from a tribe you trust turns negative assumptions into reasoned choices.
Who we coach
Founders and CEOs

The newly promoted SVP who is not sure how to lead the team that used to be peers. The senior manager whose family, personal time and work are colliding. We build the routine, the intention and the plan.
Emerging leaders inside your company
Coaching for the managers you have marked for promotion. Confidence, communication, and trust in their people to do the job. Done at scale, this is the Green Beret Leadership Program.
Transitioning service members
We have guided more than 200 active duty service members into their next adventure, many through The Commit Foundation. Different backgrounds, same question: what is my new identity and purpose? Read what they say.

Coaching questions
What does a coaching engagement look like?
It starts with a baseline of who you are and where you want to go. From there we build a plan, then provide guidance, coaching and accountability on a regular call rhythm, measuring progress and adjusting for optimization along the way.
How much does coaching cost?
Every engagement is tailored to your goals, so pricing varies. The best next step is a free initial consult where we understand your needs and recommend the right program, which may be one of our fixed-price programs rather than open-ended coaching.
Do you coach in person or online?
Mostly online by video call, which is how we work with clients across the country. In-person work happens through Executive Offsites and the Brotherhood of Steel Retreat.
